"Andre deserves to be in the hall of fame because he's the first player to ever score a touchdown on seven(7)different teams plus he has a championship ring with the Packers.  I personally am a huge Andre Rison fan not only due to the fact his birthday is the same as mine but I've collected all of his football cards from all the teams he's played on and I have his KC Chiefs Spider-man poster on my wall.  Finally, Andre's stats should speak for itself.  Andre may not be selected due to his negative antics off the field but that shouldn't change who and what he is as a player on the field.  Andre did his job and did his job well."

"Dear Admin -That is a cool website, www.andrerison.com.  Andre was an awesome player in his prime and I really enjoyed his brief tenure with the Raiders in 2000.  Andre looked great in silver & black  He also played like it as well.  My biggest disappointment is Andre was not a Raider long enough.  I will be honest the addition of Andre Rison in 2000 was key to Raiders playoff run as Oakland needed a 2nd WR that wasn't the pure sprinter Jett was.  Hopefully Andre Rison Jr.  will not get injured during his college career an will be drafted by the Raiders and pick off where Pops left off.  There is no doubt Andre belongs in the Hall of Fame.  His only obstacles may be the do gooders who worry about Andre's off the field activities rather than his athletic accomplishments."

I had the opportunity to spend a great deal of time with  Andre during his time with the Toronto Argonauts and his intelligence, sense  of humor and thoughtfulness are as solid as his game! I feel that Andre Rison should be in the hall of fame. Cause he was one of the best players in the NFL. I am a player on the Capital colts semi pro football team where Andre is our head coach. Watching him grace the field in a NFL game was amazing. And having him as a coach is even more amazing. Andre Rison has a way of getting everyone's attention and respect. He is a great motivator, coach, and player. I feel that I have learned alot from him and I am looking forward to learning even more. He has the talent and knowledge to make us great. Just the other day at practice he was acting as our quarterback it had been raining all day, every pass he through was with pin point accuracy and a perfect spiral every time, it was amazing watching him throw a ball. He is probably better than a couple quarterback's in the NFL right now. I could go on on about why I think Andre Rison should be in the NFL'S, HALL OF FAME. But there is not enough room on this page. So i will leave it at this. Should Andre Rison be in the HALL OF FAME? That should not even be a question.

Borderline stats?  Maybe... I understand that there exists a very fine line.  But the multiple pro-bowl appearances, the cumulative yards, cumulative touchdowns, appearance on some teams of questionable talent... 
I understand andre has not lived an angelic life.  Ok, let's face it - He isn't called "Bad Moon" because of his affinity for John Fogerty - but from old-school legend Paul Hornung, all the way up to Michael "I-won't-flatter-him-by-calling-him-playmaker" Irvin (a man of MUCH more questionable integrity), we have clearly established ourselves as a forgiving society.

Bottom line:  the HOF is based on your on-field performance, what you brought to the game, and how little you left on the field.  I was 16 when Andre was drafted.  I enjoyed watching him, feared when my team played him, and have great memories of him as a ballplayer.  I wouldn't hesitate to cast a vote for Andre Rison for the NFL hall of fame.
